ScaN (Security and Networking) Lab is at the University of California, Los Angeles in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department.
Our research brings a data-driven approach to understanding the Internet’s performance and security, both on the ground and in space. We build systems that learn patterns from and collect data about network, operator, and attacker behaviors. We quantitatively analyze the data our systems collect to surface critical operational challenges and threats.
